Dutch Nomad Family Adventures

Dutch Nomad Family Adventures. Dubai in the United Arabic Emirates is a fantastic holiday destination. The Dutch Nomad Family visited the Middle East for the first time. Cultural and architectural a whole new experience and we all loved it!
The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. Your kids will never forget this one! It is 829 meters high. The elevator brought us to the observation deck on the 124th floor at 456 meters within 1 minute! And when the doors open: Wow, you are on top of the world, the city, teeny tiny cars, the sea and the desert around Dubai. Isis and Thijs were fascinated to see all the construction projects going-on and were amazed that it’s all built on desert sand.
Being at the right time at the right place, in front of the Burj Khalifa at sunset there are spectacular dancing fountains and light show. Illuminated by 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors, it is 275 meter long and shoots water up to 150 meter into the air accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. That was impressive.
The aquarium in the Dubai Mall, the largest mall of the world, was definitely worth the visit. It is really big and there is also an underwater zoo. There was a King Crocodile, weighing a whopping 750 kilograms and measuring over 5m in length. Its head alone is more than 150 kilograms! And we never can get enough of seeing Nemo.
Dutch nomad family
Isis and Thijs also visited the Atlantis Waterpark on the Palm Island. The aquarium is really beautiful. The waterpark is awesome as well but we ran out of time. Palm Island is an experience on it’s own. And the kids remember vividly seeing the only 7 star hotel Burj Al Arab. Tom and Inge spent a full day in the Burj al Arab hotel and that was an absolutely awesome experience on all fronts.
Ski Dubai is and indoor ski center for skiing, snowboarding and a penguin encounter.
It is fantastic for kids to meet the penguins and they are able to feed them. They like fish and that’s what they get at Ski Dubai. There is two types op penguins, the Gentoo and the King penguin. Gentoo penguins are the third largest penguins, with a height of 60 to 75 centimeter. The King penguin is bigger, 94 centimeter. Ski Dubai is fun for the whole family.
In the old part of town, we strolled over the spice souk and gold souk. The quantity of gold and all its formations blew us away. The sellers are very friendly to kids and it’s a great place to buy your souvenirs. And then we made a boat trip over the Dubai Creek to a traditional Arabic restaurant, with sunset over the Creek.
Dutch nomad family

A Gold class (first class) ticket in the Metro allowed us to sit in the first cabin of the metro, with a huge front window to see the whole skyline of Dubai in front of us and passing by as we travelled back from the old part of town to Al Barsha. The metro ride was an experience in itself.
Dubai also has Kidszania, an all time favorite for Isis and Thijs. Children can try around 50 different professions and get trained to use the equipment and to follow the instructions. Whether it’s to be a surgeon, a driver, a pilot or a kitchen chef. Look around for Kidszania in each big city in Asia; the concept is fantastic.

Enjoy your journey of life, crazy nomadism!

What better way to start a brand new week than reflecting on the good that came your way.
I was given a full week of extraordinary amazing experiences and can summarise the Easter Holiday in one word:

ABUNDANCE..!!!
Thinking about all the positive energy that came my way and trying to “understand” what happend, I realize it is the outcome of connecting to my true self and making my values and what I want to contribute to the world very clear. Focusing on who I want to be and directly start acting, thinking and living that way.

And don’t think I’m floating around now, being all zen and ultra calm and understanding towards every human being all the time!

I’m human, I get tired, have ego that needs to be handled and run a military regime in the morning getting 2 kids ready for school, while 2 dogs and a husband are asking for some caring love and attention at the same time.

So what made me feel abundance?

I met some pretty amazing people this week. What makes them amazing to me, was determined in the first few seconds I met them.
Positive energy, big smiles and the joy of wanting to interact with other humans and learn from one another.
This is pretty special if you take into account these encounters took place in an intercultural setting here in Bali. Regardless of skin colour, religious believe, social hierarchy (still very much alive in Bali’s culture and day to day life), we talked, learned, shared knowledge, had fun and did crazy stuff. We worked hard, we surrendered to what came to us this week and where giving tons of love in every way possible.
Because love comes in many forms, like I just described. It even started pouring over Luh Padmi via Facebook after I put up a post of her reading Tom’s palm.
Do you realise what that did to her?
You gave back to a beautiful human who has dedicated her life to giving to others. You gave her energy, by sharing your respect and love for her with the world.
And by doing so you didn’t only give her a good feeling, no you did something bigger! You contributed to her healing power and mission in life.
You gave some of your positive energy to her, and she will use it to help others! Did you realise this?
I didn’t realise I was giving to others huge amount of energy and life force to take the first step in finding and getting started on fulfilling there life purpose with the little I know.
I just share what I know and have recently learned with others. I share my journey. I share my life. I share my questions. I share where I buy my healthy food. I share which cookbooks I use. I share how I arrange my travels. I share my worries and fears, to understand them and transform them into positive actions. I share where I love to eat and practice yoga. I share my experiences. I share what I believe in. I share the people, food, knowledge, everything with you.
Because there is enough for everyone…. Abundance.
So I invite you to share your love in any form this week. Doesn’t matter if it’s big or small. If it’s within your household or openly to the world. Let your believe in Abundance make a contribution.
I would love to hear what you did, how you felt and what the effect was! Please share in the comments below.
And if you are wondering where I get my inspiration, motivation, knowledge and who are my guides and mentors keep your eyes open open in the next few weeks, because I will be revealing some awesome things.

Enjoy your journey of life, crazy nomadism!

Warm greeting from Bali Villa Bloom,
Inge, Tom, Isis and Thijs aka the Dutch Nomad Family

8 Inspirational Quotes from Women Business Leaders

I really love boosting women business leaders whenever I get the opportunity as women have such a hard time moving out of the shadows of men. When they do excel in their business that they are in we need embrace the moment and give them the pat on the back that they so deserve.
Every time I think yeah baby we are out there I see new programs that emerge and its run by men with very little input from women. Women are the nurturers the glue in a family and they hold the groups together with their communication skills their help should be embraced. So why isn’t it?
At conferences it is really a boys club with speaker after speaker a male – why are women not encouraged to speak at events to motivate and lift up other people within the audience?
I have loved looking at these ballsy quotes from truly amazing women leaders. I applaud theEntrepreneur website who capture the 10 quotes that you see below:
Sara Blakely – Spandx44 year old billionaire
Don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know. That can be your greatest strength and ensure that you do things differently from everyone else.
Listen to one of America’s richest self-made woman, Sara Blakely, who at the age of 44, sits on a fortune of approximately $1 billion thanks to the success of her popular undergarments. Her Spanx line has expanded to jeans and yoga wear, and — to date — her company remains privately owned.
Sheryl Sandlberg COO Facebook
Option A is not available. So let’s kick the sh** out of option B.
Lori Greiner QVC Inventor  – Shark TankInvestor
Dear optimist, pessimist, and realist — while you guys were busy arguing about the glass of wine, I drank it! Sincerely, the opportunist!
The “Queen of QVC,” Lori Greiner, who joined the ABC show Shark Tank in 2012 alongside Barbara Corcoran. Greiner has hosted a QVC show called The Clever & Unique Creations Show since 1998 and hawks her popular products, such as jewelry organizers, on the channel. She also runs a product development and marketing company in Chicago.
Mary Kay Ash – Mary Kay Cosmetics
Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn’t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn’t know that so it goes on flying anyway.
Mary Kay founded Mary Kay Cosmetics in 1963. Her entrepreneurial talents emerged long before, when she joined the direct sales force of Stanley Home products in the 1930s as a side gig, which became her full-time job in 1939 — after her husband ran off and left her to support three children. Success in spite of tragedies, including her second husband’s death shortly before her first cosmetics store was poised to open, set a high bar of grit and fortitude.
Barbara Corcoran Real Estate Magnate – Shark Tank Investor

The difference between successful people and others is how long they spend time feeling sorry for themselves.
How is this woman’s story when she failed school with all “Ds” then turned her around her first $1,000 and turned it into millions. She joined the cast of ABC’s Shark Tankand later co-founded Barbara Corcoran Venture Partners, an angel investment company. Later she became an angel investor.
Eileen Fisher – Fashion Designer
Eileen founded her line of eco-friendly, organic women’s loungewear in 1984 and currently employs more than 1,100 employees with over 60 stores across the U.S. She’s described her business as “an obsession” — one of her son’s first phrases was “crinkle rayon.” While her obsession is flourishing, Fisher said her divorce and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, gave her perspective to make sure her most important relationships remain at the forefront — including taking care of herself.
Life-fulfilling work is never about the money — when you feel true passion for something, you instinctively find ways to nurture it.
Melinda Gates
If you are successful, it is because somewhere, sometime, someone gave you a life or an idea that started you in the right direction. Remember also that you are indebted to life until you help some less fortunate person, just as you were helped.
Melinda Gates — also known as the wife of the richest man in the world, Bill Gates is formidable in her own right. Before marrying Gates, she was a general manager of information products at Microsoft. Since quitting her job there in 1996, she’s been both a powerful figurehead and hands on in the Gates Foundation mission to fund projects that will impact global health.
Adrianna Huffington
We need to accept that we won’t always make the right decisions, that we’ll screw up royally sometimes — understanding that failure is not the opposite of success, it’s part of success.
Adrianna who recently signed on to remain editor-in-chief of AOL/Huffington Post until 2019, shared her #fails with graduates at Sarah Lawrence College in 2011: her failed epic romance with the late-London Times columnist Bernard Levin and her original plans for TheHuffington Post to be a highbrow literary site that nobody was going to read, “but everyone was going to pretend to have read it.” Turns out, she did all right.
As you can see there are some amazing women in the article but I love when I read about them they came from normal backgrounds in fact one of the women Barbara he failed school did they have any special treatment? You will see that they made their own luck that they fought for what they wanted. That is what you will says.

HIRING THE RIGHT TEAM TO BUILD YOUR WEBSITE

Its so important when hiring the right team to build your website that you really begin with a check list of questions that you need answered before you even get to the point and start talking about your vision for your website.
The questions would be:
  • How much experience have you had building websites?
  • Can I see the different types of websites that you have built?
  • What length of time does it take you to build a website?
WordPress is one of the biggest and easiest platforms to work with and there are thousands of free themes but note with free themes are not updated after a period of time whereas a paid theme is updated regularly.
. Once the platform and framework of the site is built, it is more difficult to add new features or alter the overall structure.
Other considerations is to determine the goal of your website.
  • What do you hope to achieve with this website?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • How will you know when you have achieved these objectives?
With building your website you may want to consider to have a mock up of the layout of your website so you can envisage how the end product will look like. This is a great time to make adjustments before you even get started. As you move through the website creation process, you will see the website starting to take shape and have a good idea by now what the site will look like.
Although there will be many things that will change during the creation process – like specific design features, different applications, and your unique content – your core goals will remain constant.
Your Virtual Assistant Team
Need a VA have their own project managers who have a team of virtual assistants who will work with you to complete your project? The beauty of a project manager is he takes your dreams and suggestions and works closely with your virtual assistant team to ensure that your project progresses and is completed in a timely manner.
Of course you are going to make the global decisions and direct your managers to implement these into action. As the head of your business, you are going to have a lot of issues that you need to resolve therefore we will work closely with you at all times.
Within your Need a VA team there are 9 different areas we are experts in such as technical experience, web designers, developers, and programmers who will actually be building your site through the different stages.
The project manager will include critical information about goals, target audience, feature requests, and any other important information to develop your site.
Other blueprints
In website creation, blueprints are known as “wireframes,” and they include such things as diagrams of complex web applications, or workflows, and technical specifications that can guide your web development team.
Once these blueprint documents are completed, the project manager can then work with the technicians to begin building the first prototype of your website for your approval.
If you need affordable expert website design please contact us either by email info@needava.com or through our website here
Looking forward to working with you very soon ~ Jenny CEO Need a VA
